FAQ: Frequently Asked Questions.
Clearly Answered.

VISTROEM combines professional camera, lighting, audio and production technology with proprietary software and intelligent control systems to create a fully integrated studio solution.
We use high-quality professional components from established manufacturers. The specific components are selected according to the requirements of each individual studio. This allows us to continuously integrate new technologies without tying our clients to a fixed hardware configuration.

Professional cameras, microphones and lighting equipment can also be purchased individually. The real challenge begins when these components need to become a reliable studio.
The value of VISTROEM lies in the way all components work together: video, audio, lighting, set design, virtual environments and software are planned, integrated and automated as one complete system. Complex processes run in the background while the studio remains simple to operate in everyday use.
Our clients are therefore not investing in a technology project they have to develop and maintain themselves, but in a proven studio solution that works professionally from day one.

Your own VISTROEM Studio is available whenever you need it. Videos, presentations, training sessions, live streams and video conferences can be produced without having to organize an external production team and equipment for every recording.
The studio combines the capabilities of professional video production with simple operation. Many productions can be carried out independently. For more demanding formats, an operator can provide support either on-site or remotely.
This enables companies to produce high-quality content more frequently and more quickly while significantly reducing the ongoing costs associated with traditional individual productions.

A VISTROEM Studio is a turnkey solution configured to meet your specific requirements.
It includes the required camera, lighting and audio technology, powerful production technology, green screen and set, control and production software and, depending on the configuration, additional components and features.
Planning, delivery, installation, setup and training are also included in our scope of services. Once the studio has been handed over, you receive a fully configured system that is ready for immediate production.

For our recommended standard configuration, a floor area of approximately 5 × 5 metres is ideal.
Smaller rooms may also be suitable. In this case, we adapt the set, camera positions and technical equipment accordingly and clearly explain any compromises that may be necessary.
During the planning phase, we create a scale-accurate 3D model of your room based on your floor plan. This allows us to determine how the studio can be optimally integrated before installation begins.

Our recommended studio size is ideally designed for two people. Productions with up to four people are also possible.
On request, we can produce the set and studio concept in custom dimensions to accommodate smaller or slightly larger rooms. With more than five people, however, the required space and technical complexity increase significantly. For such requirements, we develop an individual concept together with you.

Yes. VISTROEM can be used with common video conferencing, streaming and video platforms such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom, YouTube, Twitch and Vimeo.
Depending on the application, the studio can serve as a professional video and audio source for a conference or handle a complete live production. Other platforms and individual streaming solutions can also be integrated.

The required internet connection depends on how you intend to use the studio. A video conference, for example, has different requirements from a high-quality live stream.
We therefore follow the current requirements and recommendations of the platform being used, such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom, YouTube, Twitch or Vimeo, and take these into account during the planning process.
For permanently installed studios, we generally recommend a stable wired network connection.

Yes. In addition to traditional virtual backgrounds, we can develop individual virtual 3D environments for your studio.
Our 3D artists can create virtual environments in which the people in front of the camera can be spatially integrated into the scene. Instead of simply placing an image behind the presenter, this creates a fully designed virtual environment.
The studio can also be equipped with our 3D Holodesk, allowing three-dimensional content and products to be incorporated into presentations.

Yes. The visual appearance can be adapted to your company and corporate identity.
This can include individual virtual sets, backgrounds, overlays, titles, logos, animations and other graphical elements. For more specific requirements, our 3D artists can also develop completely customized virtual 3D environments.

Once the project has been commissioned, we begin planning immediately. Based on your floor plan, we create a scale-accurate 3D model and plan the set, cameras, lighting and other technical components.
Once you have approved the concept, we begin manufacturing, configuring and preparing the required components.
As a rule, the studio is ready for installation at your premises within 10 to 12 weeks. A standard installation can usually be completed within one day. We then configure the entire system and provide you with training on how to operate it.

Yes. Following a brief personal consultation, we can provide a free demonstration of the system if you are seriously interested.
We show you not only the individual components, but the actual studio workflow – from operation to the finished image. This gives you a realistic impression of how the system works in everyday use before making a decision.

No. One of the key advantages of VISTROEM is that many productions do not require a dedicated operator.
The system is designed to automate complex studio technology as much as possible while remaining easy to operate.
For larger live productions or special requirements, an operator may still be useful. Depending on the event, the operator can be on-site or support the studio remotely. This can either be a trained member of your own team or a VISTROEM operator.

Yes. During installation, we commission the studio together with you and train the people who will be using it.
Because the system has been developed for independent operation, no extensive technical training is required. Our support team remains available for further questions and more demanding productions.

We continue to support our clients long after the studio has been commissioned.
Our services include technical support and maintenance, remote assistance and remote operating, as well as support with the planning and execution of more demanding productions and live events.
We also provide advice on selecting suitable streaming, conferencing and event platforms and, where required, develop individual designs, virtual sets and complete 3D environments for the studio.

Yes. In addition to the studio system itself, we can also support the technical and conceptual implementation of live events.
Depending on the objective, number of participants and desired level of interaction, we advise you on suitable platforms and production workflows and can provide additional technology as well as remote or on-site support.
This allows the studio to serve as a central production hub for larger digital or hybrid events.

Yes. Depending on your financial and organizational requirements, you can purchase a VISTROEM Studio, rent it on a long-term basis or lease it through our leasing partner.
Regardless of the model you choose, we plan and configure the studio according to your requirements and install the complete system at your premises.
For an initial estimate of leasing costs, you can also use our leasing calculator.

The cost depends on the room, equipment and required features. We therefore plan each studio around the actual requirements and then provide a transparent quotation.
Our approach is deliberately cost-efficient: through intelligent integration and automation, we provide professional studio technology at a cost that can be significantly lower than conventional studio solutions or repeatedly commissioned individual video productions.
Purchase, long-term rental and leasing also provide different investment and financing options.
